Babes in Disneyland: Wheelchair Rental

Wheelchair Rental
Wheelchairs are available for rent at the Disneyland Resort and may be taken back and forth between both parks. Manual wheelchair and Electric Convenience Vehicle (ECV) rentals are available inside the main entrance of either park for a fee of $32.00 for manual wheelchairs and $45.00 for electric convenience vehicles. Both require a refundable deposit of $20.00. Sales tax applies to the fee for for the ECV, but not to the deposit. Prices are subject to change. If you know of a price increase, please email me so that I can update this information.
The rental location is next to the Disneyland Kennel Club outside Disneyland park’s main entrance.
Wheelchairs access attraction queues through special lines. Some of these lines are the exits of the attractions or the fast pass lines, while other attractions have newly updated lines that can accommodate the wheelchair guest and his/her party throughout the queue. A wheelchair or ECV does not guarantee faster entrance to an attraction. Cast Members can have wheelchair guests wait so that they are not bypassing the wait in line, thus cutting down on the amount of people who rent wheelchairs for that very reason.
In most cases, guests in wheelchairs need to be able to transfer out of their chairs to get onto the attractions. There are a few rides in which wheelchair guests do not need to get out of their chairs. The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and “it’s a small world” both accommodate the entire wheelchair. At The Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, there is a theater room where guests can view the attraction without boarding a submarine.
