Babes in Disneyland

Seal Beach Pier & Old Town Seal Beach

Seal Beach is a quaint seaside community located approximately 16 miles from the Disneyland Resort.  Old Town Seal Beach features shady, tree-lined Main Street, a beautiful beach and pier. Fishing is permitted from the pier. Visitors can stroll along several city blocks of Main Street beginning at the pier and enjoy restaurants, gift shops, surf, kite and bicycle shops as well as a store that sells tons and tons of sea shells for very reasonable prices.  We bought some really beautiful shells for very little money and then my son “magically” found them while we walked on the beach.  The magic doesn’t have to end with Disneyland!

When we go to Seal Beach with the kids, we love to take them to the Ruby’s restaurant at
the end of the pier.  We love the fact that the waves are rarely big and the sand is as soft as powdered sugar.  Make sure to have cash and change for parking.  There is some pay parking and some metered parking, but it’s not terribly expensive.
