Main Street U.S.A.

Main Street U.S.A. is Walt Disney's vision of a typical small town at the turn of the 20th century. Main Street is your gateway to Disneyland and has a variety of important facilities that you may find useful during your visit.

Services
Located on the west side of the street, City Hall is ran by Disneyland's Guest Relations department. Here you can have any and all of your Disneyland-related questions answered, as well as many unrelated to Disneyland. Think of them as your in-park concierge. Guest Relations hosts and hostesses can help with the following:

  1. Find resources for local transportation, lodging, attractions, and much more.

  2. Provide maps in English and a variety of other languages, as well as entertainment schedules

  3. Special assistance passes for guests with disabilities,

  4. Directions to attractions outside the Resort

  5. Guided tour information

  6. Lost and Found inquiries

  7. Lots of freebies.  See the freebies page for more information!

  8. While at City Hall you can also purchase Disney Dollars. Disney Dollars come in ones, fives, and tens and are purchased dollar for dollar using cash or credit cards. They are a great alternative to using the ATM, as there is no ATM  transaction fee. Disney Dollars can be used as cash throughout Disneyland and leftover Disney Dollars can be redeemed at the end of your visit.

  9. Last, but not least, City Hall is the place to go if you have a question, concern, or compliment you would like to lodge regarding your visit.

Other Services
If you have purchased an annual passport, you will get it processed at the Plaza Pavilion. It is across from Plaza Inn on the west side of the street next to the entrance of Adventureland.

After a long trip to Disneyland, you may need to use the restrooms...fast. There are restrooms on the east side of Main Street just beyond the stroller rental after passing through the train tunnel or on the left of Main Street in between City Hall and the fire station. (The restrooms next to City Hall are much larger.)

The Baby Center / Lost Children it is located on the east side of Main Street. It is a good idea to stop in before you continue on with your day. Older children will appreciate knowing where to go if they are lost. While here, it is a good idea to take advantage of the Baby Center's many amenities before continuing on into the park. See our page on the Baby Center for more information.

Just beyond the Baby Center on Main Street is Disneyland's First Aid. Staffed by nurses and often a doctor, first aid is a fantastic resource for anything that may ail you while you are at Disneyland. Services are provided free of cost. Stop in for anything from a band aid to pain reliever. They also have glasses repair kits and so much more.

Dining Recommendations

  1. The Plaza Inn Restaurant has a great character breakfast and dining throughout the day, as well as birthday parties.

  2. If you are looking for a cool sweet treat but the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street has a long line, try across the street at the lesser known Cone Shop (in the courtyard next to the lockers).

  3. Show you children how candy is made at the Candy Palace.

  4. The corn dog cart at the end of Main Street by the Baby Center is a fast place to grab a bite. They serve drinks and a choice of chips or apple slices with the corn dogs. It's a great place to stop if you are on the go.  Oh, and the corn dogs are amazing!

  5. There is a fresh fruit cart halfway up Main Street on the east side of the street.

Halfway up Main Street on the east side of the street are the lockers. Also located in the locker facility is a postage machine.  Mailboxes are located throughout Disneyland on lamp posts.  Letters and postcards are not postmarked with Disneyland, they are stamped once they reach the Anaheim post offices.
