Holiday Time

Thinking about visiting Disneyland during the holidays?  While this can be a very crowded time of year, it is also so very magical.  In addition to the I Believe in Holida
y Magic Fireworks and beautiful holiday decor found throughout the park, guests have many wonderful experiences to behold.  Holiday decorations and entertainment usually begin just before Thanksgiving and end shortly after the new year.  You should contact Disneyland directly for specific dates.

A Christmas Fantasy Parade

Children young and old love the Christmas Fantasy Parade with its cast of Disney characters and holiday icons.  The parade gives families a time to rest and spend time with one another in the midst of a very busy Disneyland day.

Personally, I pref
er to find a place along Main Street to sit.  I have always had really good luck getting a great spot right in front of the Disney Opera house located next to the Disney Gallery.  Ideally I like to be in front of the Emporium or City Hall, but I don’t like to sit and wait for an hour before the parade.  If you can swing it and get a reservation, the Carnation restaurant on Main Street is a great place to dine and watch the parade go by.  Restaurant reservations are available by calling (714) 781-DINE.

Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle
Dressed in it's winter best, Sleeping Beauty Castle is magically transformed into a snow-capped vision of fantasy both day and night.  And while visiting Sleeping Beauty Castle, don't forget to visit the newly-renovated castle walk-through in order to experience the castle firsthand.
