Free Stuff at Disneyland

"Free" is not a word that is commonly heard at Disneyland, but if you know where to look, there are a few freebies available to Disneyland guests.

City Hall

Hosts and hostesses in Main Street's City Hall have a variety of resources at their finger tips that can help make any guest's day great. Upon request, City Hall Cast Members may be able to enhance your day with the following items:

1. •Buttons
   City Hall Cast Members (as well as Cast Members throughout the park) have access to commemorative buttons. The buttons help commemorate a variety of Disneyland experiences from birthdays to first visits to honorary citizens. If you are celebrating a special occasion, City Hall Cast Members probably have a button for it. Guests can also get free buttons at the Guest Relations Information Board located in Central Plaza.
   
   

2. •Talk with Disney Characters on the Telephone
   City Hall Cast Members can dial up a special Disney character for your child's birthday.
   
   

3. •Autographed Photos of Characters
   A very little-known Disneyland freebie is the autographed character photo. This is not something quickly offered up by City Hall Cast Members, but when accompanied with the a heart-felt story, it is a request that is usually accommodated.
   

Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters
While you are riding Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters, don't forget to smile pretty because your picture will be snapped while you are blasting away at Zurg. When you get off the attraction, you can email to yourself at home (or your friends and family back home). A free picture! Who would have thought?!

Free Coffee Refills
Coffee refills are available at the Market House on the east side of Main Street.  Purchase coffee in the morning and save your receipt all day and get your fix over and over...and over all day long!

Staying Hydrated
It sounds silly, but filtered water is free all over Disneyland. $3 for a bottle of water can really add up. Visit my page on water for more information.
