Entertainment Tips

Disneyland isn't all about the attractions (rides). Disneyland offers a variety of entertainment options daily. For parents of babies and toddlers, many of these entertainment offerings can be a great opportunity for your children (and you) to get a little needed rest during the day. Entertainment offerings vary depending upon the time of year and hours of operation. Here are a few tips to help you enjoy your Disney day even more.

  1. View and
print the entertainment schedule on Disneyland’s web site for the day you will be visiting the resort prior to your visit so that you plan your day ahead of time.  You should also confirm the entertainment schedule upon entering the park. Entertainment schedules are available as you enter the park through the main gates.

  2. The characters found at Disneyland are considered "entertainment." For specific information on where a certain character can be found, stop by City Hall, located on the west side of Main Street, upon entering the park.

  1. If you plan on going to a show at Disneyland, you will probably need to get there approximately 30 minutes before it starts. That 30 minutes, plus the time it takes to watch the show, will give you and your children a nice rest, not to mention a chance to breastfeed or give the baby a bottle. (If want to see Fantasmic! you will need to wait for a more than 30 minutes--especially for the first show.)
