Central Plaza
Disneyland is laid out like wheel with the lands radiating out like the spokes from Central Plaza (otherwise known as The Hub). You'll know you are in the Central Plaza when you see the tall Walt Disney statue. Because this spot is so easy to find and at the center of the park, it is a great place to establish as a meeting spot if your party gets lost.
Food
Central Plaza is not a land and does not boast any of its own attractions. Because it is a place where a lot of guests like to meet up with one another or take a break, it is home to a number of outdoor vending carts. On most days, one can find an ice cream cart, coffee cart, and churro cart on the west side of the circle. The iced coffees at the coffee cart are outstanding! I am a fan of the iced nonfat hazelnut latte. Yum! Pick up a cookie or fabulous rice crispie treat for the kids while you are there and everyone gets a delicious treat!
Entertainment
Central Plaza is usually a great place to watch parades and the fireworks. If you look carefully you may also find a character or two and hear the Disneyland band or other Disneyland musical group.
Services
Located along Central Plaza near the entrance to Adventureland is the Guest Information Board. At the board, guests can see current wait times for Disneyland attractions, get questions answered, and even find out where and when the characters can be found.
