Babes in Disneyland: Attraction Tips

Attraction Tips
Let's face it. Most people go to Disneyland for the attractions (rides). From thrilling attractions to slow, steady, and sweet for the little ones, Disneyland's attractions can't be beat. Below are some tips to make your Disney days easier. Don't forget to check out the additional tips located to the left. The baby switch pass and knowing the height restrictions for certain attractions can make life much easier!
★If you can manage...the best time to visit attractions in Mickey’s Toontown is during meal times--lunch or dinner.
★If you are visiting Disneyland on a crowded day and plan on staying into the evening, the attractions on the west side of the park tend to be far less crowded starting around 8p.m. due to crowds that form for the nightly presentations of Fantasmic!.

★Take advantage of the Fast Pass system. Fast passes are available for a variety of attractions, including Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin, and The Indiana Jones Adventure. Upon arriving, go to the desired attraction you would like the fast pass for and following the instructions on the fast pass machine. You will receive a "ticket" that allows you to return to that attraction later in the day. You will be able to board that attraction without waiting in the regular line. (If you will be attending with a toddler, consider the Buzz Lightyear attraction first!). It is important to note that you can only have one active fast pass at a time. Once the time has expired on your first fast pass, you can get another for the same or a different attraction.
★Try to visit the Tomorrowland attractions and Peter Pan Flight (in Fantasyland) first thing in the morning!
★If it’s your first visit to Disneyland, consider making the Disneyland Railroad one of your first attractions. It makes a full circle trip around the Magic Kingdom and if it's your first time, it provides a great overview of the park.
★In order to make better decisions about the attractions you want to visit with your family, Disneyland offers a guest information and attraction wait time board near Central Plaza and the entrance to Adventureland.
